About Us
Our focus is simple: craft boldly simple designs that get the word out, grow your revenue, and bring your audience knocking.
That’s what we call functional design that serves—both you and your people. What will your mighty impact look like?
Our philosophy
Working with Wild Wren feels like a warm cup of coffee in a cozy cafe on a cold day. A neighbor dropping by with a treat (and staying for some good conversation). A smile and genuine “how are you?” from the checkout person at your local store. The crisp in the air on the first day of fall (or the sunshine on your skin on first day of spring!)
Some may call it “midwestern friendliness,” but beyond that—we like to call it a deep heart for simplicity and service (a philosophy we share with each of our client-partners). Can your audience feel the difference that your business brings to the market? Can you articulate what your mighty impact looks like? At Wild Wren, that’s our mission—helping your small business thrive through design.
Our Founder
Hey! I'm Asha Kirkland. I've always loved design and had a passion for creativity and entrepreneurship. My interest in design began when I was young and followed me into my adult years. I worked in the events industry before deciding to set out on my own adventure.
Just like everything at Wild Wren Design, the foundation for my studio began with a dream of making mighty impact in my community. My ND roots are a core part of who I am—and watching the small yet feisty wrens interacting on my family’s farm inspired my studio’s name. After all, aren’t entrepreneurs like us just a bit “wild” to take business into our own hands, start something new, do things differently, and forge our own paths? That promise of freedom, vision of reliance on myself, and confidence that I could help other businesses in my community thrive through design lights up my soul in a way that I know you relate to.
Whatever your impact—whether you’re a local downtown storefront, multi-generational family-owned service provider, or digital-first business with a heart for your community—you’ve got a seat (and a cup of good coffee) at our table.
